Redhawks Place 33rd At Nationals

KENOSHA, Wis. – The Roberts Wesleyan University women's cross country team concluded its season with a 33rd place finish at the NCAA Division II Championships on Saturday.

Senior Rachel Horner-Richardson completed the 6-kilometer race on the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in 22:26 to lead the Redhawks and finish 161st.

Sophomore Paige Reeser was 2.6 seconds behind Horner-Richardson in 22:28.6. Sophomore Evelyn Schmit (197th) and senior Lydia Roselund also finished in less than 23 minutes.

Freshmen Michaela Goettel (247th), Emma Lipa (255th) and Gianna Tribotte (257th) also represented the Redhawks, who have qualified for nationals each of the last 11 seasons.
