ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Two members of the Roberts Wesleyan University men's soccer team have been named Academic All-District® by College Sports Communicators.

Luke Hanes played key roles in the Redhawks winning the East Coast Conference Championship for the first time in program history and have also been stalwarts academically.
Jewson, a Computer Science major from Binghamton, N.Y., started all 20 matches for the Redhawks. He was named Second-Team All-ECC for his regular-season play and Most Outstanding Player of the ECC Championship after making 15 saves and allowing only one goal in over 218 minutes of play. He finished the season with a 1.42 goals-against average while making 116 saves and posting five shutouts. He went 18-7-8 in his two seasons as a starter.
Hanes, an Accounting major from Mesa, Ariz., took on more of a defensive role this season and earned Third-Team All-ECC Honors. He played every minute of every match (1,839 total), scoring one goal and adding two assists. He made 59 starts in his Roberts career, scoring seven goals with eight assists.
