ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan University men's soccer standout
Archie Murphy has been selected Second-Team All-East Region by the United Soccer Coaches.
Murphy, a junior forward from Bourne End, United Kingdom, scored 14 goals and registered four assists for the Redhawks (10-3-7), who won the East Coast Conference (ECC) Championship and earned their first trip to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
Murphy led the ECC and tied for sixth in Division II in goals scored. He was named a Second-Team Division I All-American by the National Christian College Athletic Association and First-Team All-Midwest Region by the NCCAA.
Murphy scored the winning goal in the 109
th minute of the Redhawks' ECC semifinal victory over Saint Thomas Aquinas College and was named Second-Team All-ECC.
