ROCHESTER, NY – After having a match postponed due to the February break, the Roberts Wesleyan University E-Sports team dropped a make-up match against Southern New Hampshire by a score of 2-0 in a League of Legends matchup Monday night.
Battling a strong and experienced Southern New Hampshire squad, sophomore Isaac "Fez" Fesmire led the Redhawks from his Jungler role for the team as he battled a challenger level opponent from SNHU.
In game one, junior Charles "Congress" Coleman was named player of the game and won his lane with some solid roaming in the mid lane.
Game two saw Roberts taking an early lead at the six-minute mark but SNHU transitioned in the middle of the match and took over the map.
Sophomore Landon "Cute Factor" Sittig took over the top lane and recorded the highest cs in the game for Roberts.
"It was a massive performance from another younger player on the team," said Head Coach Aaron Stiles. "Landon is proving that he can not just keep up, but excel at this level of play."
Roberts will face Farmingdale in another make-up match later this week at a time and date to be determined.
