ROCHESTER, NY – Monday night proved to be a tough battle as the Roberts Wesleyan University E-Sports team dropped a Rocket League match to Concord University.
Concord won the league championship last season and is considered the top squad again this season.
Sophomore Hayden "Hectic Hayman" Kiehl was named the player of the match "with his determination of callouts and continuing to grow the team even after losses," according to Head Coach Aaron Stiles.
The Rocket League squad will face St. Joseph's of Long Island Monday which will provide a good test for the Roberts team and a chance to move up in the league power rankings.
"A good showing next week against St. Joe's would prove that Roberts is a contender and shows if we can make the playoffs in April," said Stiles.
