SPARKILL, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team eclipsed the 20-goal plateau for the fourth straight game while rolling to its fourth consecutive victory on Saturday.
Freshman
Chase Wilson scored five goals and added three assists and classmate
Cody Coleman added a career-best four goals as the Redhawks rolled to a 20-11 victory over Saint Thomas Aquinas College in an East Coast Conference game.
Ryan Brown also scored four goals for the Redhawks (5-3, 2-0 ECC), who have scored 91 goals in wins over Davis & Elkins, Caldwell, the University of the District of Columbia and STAC.
Jacob Zimmerman added two goals and a career-best four assists to join Coleman with six points.
Killian Ceci contributed two goals and an assist while
Sam Keens and
Gunner MacMillan each finished with a goal and an assist.
Justin Skelly also added a goal.
Junior
Isaac Marrero went 19-for-29 on face-offs and scooped eight ground balls for the Redhawks. Defender
Liam Linden also collected eight ground balls and caused two turnovers while
Garrett Kayser made five saves.
The Redhawks will host Walsh University in a non-conference game at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
