COLONIA, NJ – Junior Brady Kustra from the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Lacrosse team headlined a group of four Redhawks that have been selected as East Coast Conference (ECC) All-Stars. The list of postseason award winners was announced Wednesday morning in advance of the ECC Tournament semifinal games being played later in the afternoon.
Kustra was selected as a First Team All-Star and was joined on the All-Star list by senior Jacob Zimmerman and juniors Isaac Marrero and Liam Linden who earned Second Team honors.
Kustra was a star on the defensive side of the field for Roberts and finished the regular season with 13 caused turnovers and 33 groundballs.
Zimmerman wrapped up the regular season with 35 points on 20 goals and 15 assists with 17 groundballs and nine caused turnovers.
Marrero led the team from the faceoff X with 200 faceoff wins and a .678 win percentage. He led the team with 125 groundballs.
Linden set the school record for caused turnovers in a season with 35 and was second on the squad with 51 groundballs.
Roberts plays at Mercy in the semifinal round of the ECC Tournament Wednesday afternoon.
