COLONIA, NJ – Senior Jackson Doran is coming off a season that he did not compete for the Roberts Wesleyan University Cross Country team but he was still the unanimous selection from the coaches of the East Coast Conference (ECC) as the 2025 Men's Cross Country preseason Runner of the Year. Doran leads a Redhawks squad that has won 10 consecutive ECC titles and are the favorites to win an 11th title as the top team in the ECC Preseason Poll.

Doran finished second in the ECC Championship race in 2023 before missing all of the 2024 cross country season. He returned to star for the Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams at Roberts as he helped the Outdoor team to the ECC Championship with a victory in the 800-meter run.

Roberts was the top team in the preseason poll with all seven first-place votes and 49 points. Daemen (40 points) was second followed by Molloy (32), St. Thomas Aquinas (28), D'Youville (20), Queens (20) and Staten Island (7).

The season begins September 6 at Brockport and Roberts will host the annual Harry F. Anderson Invitational September 27.
