CHARLESTON, W.V. – Freshman
Sierra George registered a career-high 22 assists in a five-set match against Glenville State as the Roberts Wesleyan University women's volleyball team concluded play in the University of Charleston/West Virginia State Tournament on Saturday.
George finished with 39 assists as the Redhawks (0-8) fell to Glenville State 25-19, 17-25, 22-25, 25-23 and 15-8 and Charleston 25-13, 22-25, 25-17, 25-23.
Camryn Karellus led Roberts in the first set with 13 kills while
Morgan Burnett added 10 kills and 12 digs.
Ryan Hull added 19 assists and
Morgan Verbridge contributed six total blocks.
Karelus contributed seven kills against Charleston while
Alexis Kessler added 17 digs.
Roberts will travel to Delaware next weekend to play in the Wildcat Regional Invitational at Wilmington University on Friday and Saturday.
