COLONIA, NJ – Senior Rachel Horner-Richardson won the East Coast Conference (ECC) Runner of the Week for the second consecutive week and freshman Emma Lipa earned a spot on the ECC Weekly Honor Roll.
Horner-Richardson shined over the weekend as the overall top finisher (out of 108 runners) at the annual Hamilton Short Course event hosted by Hamilton College. Horner-Richardson clocked a 4K time of 14:32.4 (5:51/mile) as she pulled away to win by nearly five seconds down the final stretch. The time is a 4K PR and nearly a full minute faster than her previous top 4K time set two years ago at the same event.
