ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Freshman setter Sierra George registered a career-high 29 assists as the Roberts Wesleyan University women's volleyball team hosted Mercy in an East Coast Conference match on Saturday.

The Mavericks, who were selected to finish first in the ECC Preseason Coaches Poll, won the match, 3-1. Scores were 25-20, 20-25, 25-18 and 25-21.

Camryn Karelus led the Redhawks (0-13, 0-1 ECC) with 11 kills while Olivia Price and Ryan Hull each contributed nine.

Morgan Burnett added three aces and nine digs for Roberts. Morgan Verbridge registered three blocks and Alexis Kessler had 10 digs.

The Redhawks will host St. Thomas Aquinas College at noon on Sunday.
