Redhawks Conclude Trip To Pennsylvania

LORETTO, Pa. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's volleyball team concluded its trip to Pennsylvania with a second consecutive close match against Saint Francis University.

The Redhawks (4-5), who are in their third season as a Division II program, were ahead by one point in the third set before the Red Flash, who defeated Roberts in five sets on Friday night, went on a 5-1 run to seize the momentum and capture the match in four sets. Saturday scores were 25-23, 25-27, 25-23 and 25-16.

Freshman Jayce Moore led Roberts with 14 kills and two aces while sophomore Landon Brouwer contributed 31 assists and 13 digs.

Senior Moises Jimenez paced the Redhawks with 15 digs and sophomore Ryan DeJohn added nine kills.

The Redhawks host Daemen at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Voller Athletic Center.
