Balanced Scoring Carries Redhawks Past Redeemer

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Freshman Jaden Lee scored a career-high 16 points to lead the Roberts Wesleyan University men's basketball team to a 70-61 victory over Redeemer University in a non-conference game on Monday night.

Lee made four three-pointers, including three in the first half, as the Redhawks (2-8) took a 36-24 lead at the half.

Jaden Battle scored 12 points, including nine in the second half, and Jordan Brown added 11 as Roberts snapped a six-game losing streak.

Keonjay Carter added 10 points and Collin Woods returned to the lineup after missing three games with a injury to score nine. Trey Kleitz scored eight points, all in the first half, for Roberts.

The Redhawks will host Saint Thomas Aquinas College in an East Coast Conference game at 8 p.m. Friday in the Voller Athletic Center.
