Men's Volleyball Extends ECC Win Streak To Three

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's volleyball team swept its way to its third consecutive East Coast Conference victory on Saturday.

The Redhawks (15-10, 3-1 ECC) defeated American International College by scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-15 and currently rank second in the ECC standings.

Roberts received strong play at the net from Ryan DeJohn, Paul Fillion and Jordan Hoover. DeJohn paced the Redhawks with 14 kills, Fillion added 10 kills and 10 digs and Hoover contributed six blocks and six kills.

Sophomore Landon Brouwer led the Redhawks with 32 assists and senior Moises Jimenez finished with 17 digs.

The Redhawks return to action for an ECC match at D'Youville at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
