BUFFALO, N.Y. – Freshman
Jordan Hoover recorded back-to-back blocks as the Roberts Wesleyan University men's volleyball team rallied for a reverse sweep against D'Youville in a non-conference match on Wednesday night.
Hoover recorded 12 kills and 10 blocks as the Redhawks overcame an early 2-0 deficit in sets. Scores were 25-27, 21-25, 25-21, 25-14 and 16-14. The win ensures that the Redhawks (16-10), who have victories over four Division I opponents, will finish with their first winning record in the three-year history of the program.
"I've never cared about a winning record as long as we were playing high quality teams and working on improving during the year," Redhawks coach Mike Dedee said. "However, being able to do both is great and speaks volumes about our team and the program's growth. I am very proud of these guys."
Freshman
Jayce Moore led Roberts with 15 kills and junior
Paul Fillion added 10. Sophomore
Landon Brouwer recorded 46 assists and 12 digs and

The Redhawks are off for Easter weekend and will return to action for an East Coast Conference match against American International College on April 11 in the Voller Athletic Center.
