ROCHESTER, NY – Sophomore Ryan DeJohn posted a team-high 17 kills and a .556 attack percentage to lead the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Volleyball team to a 3-0 win over visiting Judson University Monday night in the Voller Athletic Center.

Roberts (12-9) won in the rematch of the 2025 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Championship Tournament semifinal in April. The Redhawks also won a 3-0 decision in 2025 and a 25-22 set win in a tie-breaker to advance to the National Championship match.

On Monday, DeJohn led the balanced attack as eight different players recorded kills for the Redhawks. DeJohn finished with 17 kills, junior Paul Fillion added six and freshman Jordan Hoover chipped in five kills and six blocks.

Roberts led by a point late in the first set with a 21-20 edge but rallied for four consecutive points including kills by Fillion and DeJohn and a block by Fillion and Hoover to close out the 25-20 win.

The Redhawks added a pair of 25-19 wins in the second and third sets to complete the sweep.

Sophomore Landon Brouwer handed out 34 assists and four digs.

Roberts will open East Coast Conference (ECC) play this week with road matches at St. Thomas Aquinas College Thursday and at Dominican University Saturday.
