ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's volleyball team pulled off a dramatic comeback to win its first East Coast Conference regular-season championship.
Trailing by two sets, the Redhawks rallied for the reverse sweep, defeating Saint Thomas Aquinas College by scores of 20-25, 21-25, 25-22, 2-17 and 15-10.
"I told the guys after the first two sets that you need to show me what you've got," Roberts head coach Mike Dedee said. "That was a good chance for them to dig deep and put it all together. It was really just the guys settling down and believing in themselves.
"Once they settled in, they did a great job. I am proud of these guys and the job that they did today and what they have done all season."
Sophomore
Ryan DeJohn sparked the Redhawks (18-10, 5-1) ECC with 25 kills, 7 digs and 4 aces. Sophomore
Landon Brouwer had 41 assists and 10 digs and senior

Gavin Terp,
