ROCHESTER, NY – Sophomores Ava Barker and Mary Catherine Maloney from the Roberts Wesleyan University Field Hockey team have been named to the Academic All-District team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Association for the 2025 season.

The duo helped the Redhawks to a school-record seven wins in 2025 as the team looks to move to the East Coast Conference (ECC) for the 2026 season.

Barker, a History major from Gloversville, NY, started all 15 games and finished with a goal and an assist.

Maloney, a Psychology major from Boyertown, PA, was a team leader on the defensive end of the field and start every game for the Redhawks.

Each member of the All-District team was required to achieve at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and appear in at least 90 percent of the team's game or start at least 66 percent of the contests.
