ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University women's soccer team applied increased offensive pressure as the game progressed while playing to a scoreless tie with Gannon University in a non-conference match on Wednesday afternoon.
The Redhawks (4-1-4) were outshot 12-2 in the first half but generated several opportunities in the second half.
Roberts' best chance came with about 3½ minutes remaining when an apparent goal was negated by an offsides call. Roberts was whistled for offsides nine times in the game.

Rebecca Hoffman made seven saves while recording her third shutout of the season for the Redhawks.
Roberts hosts the College of Staten Island at 1 p.m. on Saturday on Senior Day as part of Homecoming Weekend.
