SWEDEN, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University cross country teams opened their seasons at the Tom Balon Alumni Classic hosted by Brockport State University on Saturday.

The men finished seventh overall with 202 points.

Roberts was led by junior Hunter Himebaugh, who completed the 5K course at Sweden Town Park in 17:10.7. Sophomore Isaiah McIntyre finished 33^rd (17:14.0) and freshman Mark Bondaruk crossed in 68^th (18:01.6).

Sophomore Eli Williams (76^th in 18:09.5), junior Andrew O'Dell (77^th in 18:09.7) and freshman Jackson Van Dewater (79^th in 18:11.9) rounded out the top six for Roberts.

Women

Freshman Giuliana Fodor placed fourth in 20:17.6 to lead the three competitors from Roberts.

Sophomore Olivia Fesmire was 33^rd in 21:39.6 and freshman Juliana LaFountain was 41^st in 22:04.3.

Roberts will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Hamilton Short Course Invitational at Hamilton College.
