ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Nov. 26, 2014) – Roberts Wesleyan makes their home debut this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. when they host non-conference foes, Adelphi. The game is the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
 
TICKETSRoberts Wesleyan offers multiple ticket options, including new courtside seating for $5. The 32 chair-back seats are available for all home games on a first-come first-serve basis. General admission is $3. Seniors (65 +) are $2, visiting students are $1, and RWC/NES students, faculty, and staff are free with a valid College ID.
 
PROMOTIONSThe Churchville-Chili Youth Basketball teams will play a short exhibition game during halftime.
 
Fans will also have the chance to win prizes and giveaways from Salvatore's Pizzeria, Bill Gray's, Fatheads, Yolickity, and more.
 
SCOUTING ADELPHI (0-4, 0-3 NE-10)The Panthers come into the Thanksgiving weekend with a slightly deceiving 0-4 record. Adelphi's opponents are a combined 19-2 thus far while the Panthers are averaging 72 points per game.
 
The visitors have four players scoring in double-digits through their first four games with Duane Morgan leading the way with 14.5 points per game. The senior forward is shooting an even 40% from the field while also leading the Panthers on the boards with 7.5 rebounds per game.
 
Anthony Libroia is second with 13 points per game as Boris Fodouop and Justin Jenkins are averaging 10.3 and 10 points per game respectively.
 
Adelphi, who competes in the Northeast-10 Conference, is led by first-year head coach David Duke. The new coach has been a member of the coaching staff at Division I programs, Hofstra and Fordham.
 
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (1-1, 0-0 ECC)The Redhawks opened their season with a win and a loss at the ECC-CACC Challenge at Daemen two weeks ago. The team is searching for their first home opening win since the 2011-12 season when they defeated RIT in a Wendy's College Classis consolation game.
 
For Roberts Wesleyan, junior forward 
Tyrel Dixon is leading the team with his 15.0 points per game average. Dixon has opened his third season with an impressive 57.9% field goal shooting percentage.
 
Isaac Medeiros has also started where he left off last season as he is scoring 14.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. The senior is shooting 50% from the field through two games.
