(Box Score)Houghton, N.Y. (March 7, 2015) - The men's tennis team traveled to rivals Houghton College this weekend. The Redhawks came out on top dominating the match.
In singles all sets were won either 6-1 or 6-0.
Rene Torti and Dustin Eshelmen didn't allow their respective opponents Holden Cole and Dan Thompson to score a point. There was only one match in singles that was close.
Robert Beer defeated Jordan Crouch in three sets (7-6 (7-5), 6-3) to give the Redhawks a clean sweep.
Roberts Wesleayn also took control in doubles.
Charles Farres and
Emanuel Rauchle defeated their opponents 8-2, while
Robert Beer and Dustin Eshelmen defeated their match up 8-3. Gui Plentz de Liz and
Rene Torti came out on top winning their match 8-5.
The win give the Redhawks a record of 6-3. They are on the road to face Hobart College this Wednesday March 11th at 4pm.
