Men's Tennis Defeats Daemen, 8-1

Robert Beer was a double-winner for the Redhawks, who picked up their ninth win of the season

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 11, 2015) – Robert Beer was a double-winner as Roberts Wesleyan downed Daemen in conference action, 8-1.
 
At first doubles, Beer teamed up with Charles Farres to win 8-4 against the Wildcats'Joey Gentile and Ethan Wincowski. Beer then edged Gregory Lane in close match at second doubles 7-6 (7), 6-3. The two wins give Beer a total of 19 on the year.
 
Farres also won at first singles as he defeated Gentile 6-1, 6-1.
 
Emanuel Rauchle and Rene Torti were victorious at third doubles as they got past John LeMar and Zach Laird 8-5. Both players won at third and fourth singles respectively.
 
The win puts Roberts Wesleyan at 9-7 overall and 2-2 in East Coast Conference play. The Redhawks step out of their conference schedule when they travel to Edinboro on Monday before hosting Post on Tuesday.
