EDINBORO, Pa. (April 13, 2015) – The Men's Tennis team fell to Edinboro, 8-1, this afternoon in a competitive non-conference match-up.

Despite several close matches, the Redhawks managed to only pick up one point, which came at fourth singles. In that match, Rene Torti battled Daniel Fernandez through three sets to earn a 4-6, 6-3, 10-8 victory.

Torti, along with Emanuel Rauchle, nearly earned another points at third doubles as they fell to the Fernandez and Juan Estepa, 8-6.

At sixth singles, Guilherme Plentz de Liz also played into three sets before falling to the Fighting Scots' Anmol Sandhu 3-6, 6-4, 10-4.

The loss puts Roberts Wesleyan at 9-8 on the year as they continue non-conference play tomorrow when they entertain Post at 4 p.m.
