Millersville, Pa. - The Roberts Wesleyan men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over Millersville University on Friday evening making it six straight wins on the season.
Freshman
Dennis Barlotta clinched the match for the Redhawks in No.3 singles after defeating Christian Boyer 6-1, 6-0. Barlotta also won at No. 2 doubles with
Guilherme Plentz de Liz, winning 8-3.
Hugo Ball-Greene defeated Christian Akerley in No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-2 to continue his undefeated stretch in singles play. Freshman
Paul Langbroek also continued his winning streak in season singles play by defeating Noah Ginder 6-1, 6-1.
"This was a tougher match than it looked," head coach
Tom Linhart said. "We needed to keep our focus, and we did. That was the reason we came out on top."
The Redhawks (6-0) look to continue their undefeated streak when they host RIT on Sunday at 12 p.m.
