ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Two Roberts Wesleyan men's soccer players have been named to the 2022 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) All-East Region teams, announced on Tuesday morning.
 
Dylan Ruiz and Tamas Nagy, the two leading point scorers for the Redhawks this season earned spots on the list. Ruiz was named to the All-East Region First Team and Nagy was named All-East Region Second Team.
 
It is the third time Ruiz has been honored with this award. The senior was a first team selection in 2019 and a second team honoree in 2021. Ruiz totaled 25 points this season on 10 goals and five assists.
 
Nagy makes the All-East Region team for the first time in his career. The junior had his best season as a Redhawk with 11 goals and seven assists for 29 points. Nagy notched a hat trick in the East Coast Conference semifinal game against Molloy.
 
As a first-team selection, Ruiz will move on to the D2CCA All-American consideration with the best NCAA Division II men's soccer players in the country.
 
The men's soccer team will be in action again tonight as they take on Redeemer University (Canada) for an NCCAA Midwest Regional contest. The game is slated for 7:30 p.m.
