ROCHESTER, N.Y. – With several of its more experienced runners resting in preparation for next week's Live In Lou Invitational, the Roberts Wesleyan University men's cross country team gave its younger runners an opportunity to race at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational on Homecoming Weekend.
"I honestly think that it was good for the freshman guys to be in there without the upperclassmen," said
Andrew Dorr, Roberts' Director of Cross Country and Track and Field. "They had a chance to be in our top five and for an 8K, we had some really nice debuts."

Caleb Belanger was the top finisher for Roberts , placing 69
th in 28:11.8. Classmate
Micah Barber was next across the line on the Matt St. James Trails for the Redhawks, placing 94
th in 28:54.6.
Freshman
Vincent Ciraolo finished 109
th in 29:36.6, senior
Isaac Perkins was 115
th in 29:52.9. Freshmen
Daniel Hernandez (30:39.9) and
Russell Mulley (31:43.5) rounded out the top six for the Redhawks.
Roberts finished 11
th in the team competition that was won by Geneseo.
