Brynn King has been named the East Coast Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this spring.
King, a fifth-year student from The Woodlands, Texas, broke a 13-year-old meet record while winning the women's pole vault at the 101
st Kansas Relays in Lawrence, Kan., on Friday. She also was named ECC Women't Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week on April 1.
King cleared 4.51 meters (14-feet, 9½-inches) to win the event in a field that included several Division I vaulters.
King, the NCAA Division II women's indoor pole vault champion, owns both the Division II indoor (4.65 meters) and outdoor (4.68 meters) records.
