ROCHESTER, NY – Junior Rachel Horner-Richardson won the Mile, graduate student Kylee Odell won the 1000-meters and junior Gianna Tribotte won the 3K race to lead the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Track and Field team at the Friday Night meet at RIT.
The trio of winners was joined by the 4x400 relay for the Redhawks that won the final event of the meet with a time of 4:26.83.
Horner-Richardson led a group of three Redhawks in the top four spots with her winning time of 5:19.83. Junior Lydia Roselund was second in 5:20.23 and freshman Evelyn Schmit was fourth in 5:30.87.
Odell crossed the finish line first in the 1000-meter race with a time of 3:02.53 while teammate freshman Paige Reeser was second with her time of 3:11.86.
Tribotte won the 3K with a time of 11:32.54 and junior Kaitlyn Goodwin was third in the race with a time of 12:07.59.
Sophomore Jadyn Mullen had the best time in the 60-meter hurdles with a 9.48 time but did not race in the finals. The junior finished fourth in the long jump with a final mark of 5.17 meters (16/ 11 ½").
A selection of athletes will compete for Roberts at the Midwest Open meet in Geneva, Ohio at the Spire Academy Saturday.
