ROCHESTER, NY – Freshman Madelyn Rutledge won the Triple Jump and the Redhawks captured four of the top five spots in the Pole Vault competition to lead the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Track and Field team at the RIT Thursday Night Meet in the Gordon Field House.
Rutledge won the Triple Jump with a mark of 10.97 meters (36' 0"). Her effort ranks fourth on the all-time Roberts top-five listing.
Freshman Karis Kraf led the pole vaulters with a first-place finish as she cleared the 3.60-meter bar (11' 9 ¼"). Fellow freshman Alexandrea Robertson took second as she also cleared 3.60 meters and freshman Sarah Ouelette took third at 3.45 meters (11' 3 ¾"). Freshman Molly Winger was fifth for Roberts with a mark of 3.15 meters (10' 4").
Junior Kaitlyn Goodwin took fourth in the mile run with a time of 6:14.63 and sophomore Jessica Montemorano was fifth in 6:20.63. Montemorano followed that up with a fourth-place finish in the 1000 meters with her time of 3:47.48.
