LAKE NORMAN, NC – Senior Joane Arzalluz-Garzon was the lone finisher for the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Triathon team as she led the Redhawks at the East Regional qualifier event in North Carolina.

Arzalluz-Garzon finished with a time of 1:22:59.5 to finish 24th overall among NCAA Division II competitors. She was tied for 19th place coming out of the water after swimming in a time of 11:08 and averaged 15.5 mph in the bike portion of the race with a time of 46:30. She finished the run in 22:56.
