BEAVER FALLS, PA – Freshman Skye Mickelthwaite raced to a 32nd-place finish to lead the Roberts Wesleyan University at the season-opening Beaver County Tri Cup event Saturday in Pennsylvania.

The freshman from South Africa finished in 1:11:07.98 and had times of 11:21.92 in the swim, 35:42.73 in the bike and 21:32.02 in the run.

Sophomore Jenna Maendel was next for Roberts with a total time of 1:21:59.66. She clocked times of 16:08.84 in the swim, 36:41.62 in the bike and 27:25.51 in the run.

Fellow sophomore Paige Kern rounded out the Redhawk finishers with a time of 1:28:10.82 with times of 14:08.85, 38:41.33 and 32:23.95 in the swim, bike and run respectively.
