COLONIA, NJ – Sophomore Mia Tyndell and senior Alyssa Hackett played huge roles in the East Coast Conference (ECC) road victory for the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Soccer team over the weekend and have each been named to the ECC Weekly Honor Roll.
Tyndell made a pair of saves and recorded her fourth shutout of the season as Roberts Wesleyan downed Queens 1-0 on the road Saturday to secure the No. 3 seed in the ECC Tournament and Hackett took advantage of a defensive misplay in the box to score the lone goal in the regular-season finale.
The win earned the Redhawks the No. 3 seed in the ECC Tournament and the team will host D'Youville University at 6 p.m. Thursday in the first round of the tournament at Roberts Stadium.
