ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Brynn King's best effort of the 2024-25 indoor track and field season has earned her national recognition.
King, a graduate student at Roberts Wesleyan University, was named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association Division II National Athlete of the Week after clearing 4.60 meters (15-feet, 1-inch) to win the women's pole vault at the Youngstown State University Last Chance Invitational on Friday.
King, a native of The Woodlands, Texas, has been named National Athlete of the Week twice this season and six times in her Roberts career.
King, who holds the current NCAA DII record of 4.65m (15-3), owns 10 of the top 11 marks in DII history.
King will look to defend her NCAA championship in Indianapolis in March.
