HOUGHTON, NY – Freshman Thomas McConnelee added nearly three inches to his school record in the weight throw while freshmen Aaliyah McCoy, Alexandrea Robertson and graduate student Moriah Mills each won events for the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's and Women's Track and Field teams at the Houghton University Last Chance meet Saturday afternoon.
McConnelee won the weight throw with a school-record toss of 17.98 meters (59' 0") while fellow freshman Owen Callahan placed third with his toss of 14.51 meters (47' 7 ¼").
McCoy won the 60-meter dash with a personal best time of 8.12 seconds. Robertson won the pole vault with her personal best mark of 3.83 meters (12' 6 ¾") and Mills won the shot put with her throw of 11.21 meters (36' 9 ½").
McCoy added a seventh-place finish in the 200-meter race with a time of 28.46 seconds.
Freshman Kaylea Wagner finished second in both the shot put (10.25 meters/33' 7 ½") and the weight throw (12.94 meters/42' 5 ½").
Freshman Karis Kraf was second in the pole vault as she cleared 3.73 meters (12' 2 ¾").

Kyle Havens clocked a personal best and first sub-five minute mile with a 4:59.43 to place fifth overall.
