SAN MARCOS, TX – Sophomore Sarah Ferguson missed three attempts at a new career-high and finished ninth overall for the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Track and Field team Friday afternoon at the Bobcat Invitational at Texas State University.

Ferguson cleared her first three bars at 3.75, 3.90 and 4.05 meters with only one miss but when the bar was raised to 4.20 meters (13' 9 ¼"), the sophomore transfer from the University of Washington missed on her three attempts knocking her out of the competition.

Ferguson was the top non-Division I finishers on the competition and jumpers from Arkansas State, BYU, Louisville and South Dakota finished in the top eight places.
