NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Cross Country and Track and Field program finished 10th overall in the final standings for the Jerry Baltes Program of the Year awarded by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Redhawks earned 31 points in Cross Country, 16 points for Indoor Track and Field and 20.5 points for Outdoor track and Field for a total of 67.5 points to finish 10th and just 4.5 points behind ninth-place Wingate University.
Adams State took top honors for NCAA Division II schools with seven points and just a single point ahead of Grand Valley State (8 points). West Texas A&M (13) was third followed by Colorado State Pueblo (19), Pittsburgh State (23), Colorado School of Mines (30), Lewis University (46.5), Lee University (59.5) and Wingate in 9th place.
In order to be eligible to be ranked in the standings, the school must qualify for all three championships with the lowest total score (based on team finish) for all three championships used to rank the teams.
