VANCOUVER, BC – Record-breaking freshman Antonie Pieterse earned Scholar All-America honors and both the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams were honored as Scholar All-American teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 2024-25 season.
Pieterse became the first Roberts Wesleyan Swimming and Diving All-American as he placed sixth in the 100-yard butterfly event at the NCAA Division II National Championship meet in March. He also earned an impressive 3.93 grade point average as a double major in Physics and Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering to earn the coveted Scholar All-American award from the CSCAA.
The teams also earned academic honors with each earning at least a 3.00 team grade point average for the year. The men earned a 3.42 team GPA and finished 17th in Division II while the women had a 3.73 team GPA which placed them eighth in the overall team standings.
