NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Cross Country team continues to be the top ranked team in the East Region according to the latest poll released Monday by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Redhawks were the preseason No. 1 ranked team in the East Region and after a solid start to the season in the first two meets, remains the top ranked team.

Roberts in No. 1 in the poll followed by Southern Connecticut State and Jefferson (PA) University with Bentley University and D'Youville University rounding out the top five teams in the poll.

The Redhawks are idle this weekend and return to action September 27 for the annual Harry F. Anderson Invitational on the home course at Roberts.
