YOUNGSTOWN, OH – Senior Jackson Doran won the mile race and sophomore Austin Melvin won the pole vault to lead the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Track and Field team at the Youngstown Mid-Major Invitational meet in Ohio.

Doran won the mile with his time of 4:12.16 and Melvin had a winning height of 5.21 meters (17' 1") to lead the Redhawks.

The Distance Medley Relay with junior Vincent Cirolo, senior Micah Cornfield and sophomores Jakob Zibbel and Trevor Heitkamp raced to a sixth-place finish with a combined time of 10:36.66.

Sophomore Owen Callahan had a top-ten finish as he took ninth overall in the weight throw with a heave of 16.09 meters (52' 9 ½") for a new PR.
