Bryner's Meet Record Leads Strong Showing At Shippensburg

SHIPPENSBURG, PA. – Roberts Wesleyan University pole vaulters captured three of the top four positions in the men's competition at the 2026 Shippensburg University PR Bonanza Midweek Invitational on Thursday.

Sophomore Jordan Bryner succeeded on his third attempt at 5.15 meters (16-feet, 10¾-inches) to secure first place while setting a meet record. The previous record was 5.06m (16-7 1/4).

Teammate Austin Melvin cleared 4.85m (15-11) and finished second after missing all three of his attempts at 5.15.

Freshman Noah Leathersich placed fourth after clearing his third attempt at 4.7m (15-5).
