COLONIA, NJ – Freshman Josella Harrison and three additional players for the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Lacrosse team earned Weekly Awards form the East Coast Conference this week.
Harrison led the way as the ECC Goalie of the Week while seniors Ella Dossier and Kadie Tierney along with junior Alison Dioguardi were all named to the ECC Weekly Honor Roll.
Harrison made several keys saves to lead Roberts to a 13-9 win over Daemen in the regular-season home finale. She finished with 12 saves and three ground balls while helping Roberts to a 14-for-17 clears total including a perfect 9-for-9 in the last three quarters of the game.
Tierney had a great Senior Day as she led Roberts with four goals and one assist for five points while Dossier matched her season high with six assists. Dioguardi finished with four points on two goals and two assists and added four draw controls as Roberts won 15 of the 24 draws.
The Redhawks clinched a top-two spot in the ECC Tournament with the victory and will wrap up the regular season with a game at Molloy University at Noon Saturday.
