COLONIA, NJ – Both the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Cross Country and Women's Cross Country teams have been picked to win the East Coast Conference (ECC) Championship titles again this year. Each team has won at least the last 10 straight ECC titles.

In addition to the teams earning the top honors, junior Paige Moore (Reeser) was voted the women's preseason Runner of the Year as voted on by the head coaches in the ECC.

Moore finished second in the ECC Championship race a year ago as teammate Rachel Horner-Richardson was the overall champion. Moore clocked a time of 19:03.20 to place second and earn First Team All-ECC honors.

The Roberts Women earned 64 points and all eight first-place votes in the poll with Molloy University (54 points) in second followed by D'Youville University (47), Daemen University (42), St. Thomas Aquinas College (26), Queens College (25), Staten Island (21) and the University of the District of Columbia (9).

In the men's poll, Roberts was at the top with 48 points and six first-place votes while Daemen finished second with 40 points and the final first-place vote. Molloy (33 points) was third followed by St. Thomas Aquinas (30), D'Youville (18), Queens (13) and Staten Island (12).

The 2026 season begins September 5 as the teams compete in the Tom Balon Alumni Classic event at SUNY Brockport. The Redhawks will be running at home on Homecoming weekend, September 26 at the annual Harry F. Anderson Invitational.
