COLONIA, NJ – After the first week of racing, the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Cross Country team garnered four weekly awards from the East Coast Conference (ECC) as the Redhawks placed second overall at the Hamilton College Short Course Invitational.

Juniors Trevor Heitkamp, Charles Matzke and Jakob Zibbel along with freshman Garret Tracy were each named to the ECC Weekly Honor Roll.

Heitkamp clocked a 16:25.7 time on the 5K course for 14th place overall to lead Roberts followed closely by Zibbel who raced to a 15th-place finish just a fraction of a second after Heitkamp and Matzke who was only 1/10th of a second behind at 16:25.8. Tracy rounded out the scoring for the Redhawks with a time of 16:29.3 over the 5K distance was good enough for 18th place overall.

Roberts returns to action Homecoming Weekend for the annual Harry F. Anderson Invitation on the Redhawk's home course.
