PITTSFORD, N.Y. (Oct. 6, 2014) – The Women's Tennis team defeated Saint Rose in non-conference action this afternoon, 9-0, at Mendon Racquet Club.
 
At first singles, Fatima Ouattara defeated the Golden Knights' Isabella Cubillos 7-6, 6-1. Ouattara also won at first doubles with Klara Lang, downing Cubillos and Paige Southwick, 8-1.
 
Natalia Cardona, Tina Miller, and Julia Vitale all earned shutout wins in singles for the Redhawks, who improved to 5-6 on the season.
 
Roberts Wesleyan is off until this weekend when they play three matches in three days in Pennsylvania. On Friday, the Redhawks visit Kutztown before squaring off with West Chester on Saturday and Millersville on Sunday.
