ALBANY, N.Y.  – The Roberts Wesleyan women's tennis team continued their perfect start to the year after defeating Saint Rose this evening, 6-3. Freshman Alyssa Brault and senior Emily Linhart also remained undefeated in both singles and doubles.

The duo teamed up at third singles to start the match to earn a 8-2 win over KeriAnn Mahoney and Maria Malafronte.

In singles action, Brault swept Alanna Bergmann 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles while Linhart did the same at sixth singles against Malafronte.

Marine Kennel picked up a hard-fought win at second singles as she narrowly edged Isabella Cubillos 6-3, 6-7 (11-10), 11-10.

Roberts Wesleyan improved to 4-0 on the young season as they continue non-conference play Tuesday when they host Le Moyne for a 4 p.m. match.
