ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's tennis team suffered their first loss of the season this afternoon, falling to Le Moyne at home, 7-2.
Freshman
Alyssa Brault was a bright spot for the Redhawks, winning at third doubles and fifth singles.
Brault, along with
Emily Linhart, battled Le Moyne's Allison Jones and Autumn Hogan to an 8-5 at thirs doubles. Then in singles action, Brault edged Jones for a 6-3, 7-6 (2) result.
With the two wins, Brault continued her unblemished start to her collegiate career, improving to 10-0 in all competition.
Linhart also remained undefeated in doubles play.
The loss puts Roberts Wesleyan at 4-1 as the team prepares for a homecoming match when they host District of Columbia this Saturday at 10 a.m.
