ERIE, Pa. - Playing in their first match of the spring season, Roberts Wesleyan women's tennis fell on the road to Edinboro, 7-2.
Both wins for the Redhawks came in doubles action as Natalie Cardona teamed up with newcomer
Marousia Bosch to pick up a 9-7 win at first doubles.
At third singles,
Alyssa Brault and
Emily Linhart won with another close result, edging the Fighting Scots' Julia Hellstern and Lydia Browne, 9-8 (2). Brault also had a competive match at sixth singles before falling to Jelena Vucenovic, 6-4, 5-7, (11-9).
The result puts Roberts Wesleyan at 6-8 overall as they prepare to visit Division I program, Colgate on March 5.
