BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's tennis team opened its season against Brockport on Tuesday and came away with a shutout 9-0 victory.
 
The Redhawks commanded all the doubles matches, winning in straight sets.
 
In singles play, Nthabi Mogopodi won at the No. 1 spot 6-0, 6-1 over Kelsey Shanahan. Both Andrea Gallardo and Laura Freeman won with 6-0, 6-0 decisions against their opponent.
 
The Redhawks will travel to Albany, N.Y. on Thursday for a matchup against the College of Saint Rose. Matches are set to begin at 4 p.m.
