FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's tennis team fell to Queens College, 9-0 in the first East Coast Conference matchup of the season.
 
Freshman 
Laura Freeman fought a tough battle at No. 5 singles against Ruth Artaza Martin, but eventually fell 6-2, 7-6. The North Chili native alongside senior 
Marine Kennel also had the closest match in doubles play with an 8-5 loss.
 
The Redhawks will look to rebound from their first loss of the season when they take on Molloy College on Saturday at 11 a.m.
